Look at Probate Code ยง 8900 which supports the Petition for Waiver - Probate Code 8900 and waiver

Look at how a Probate Referee appraises an estate - Inventory and Appraisal - Notice that Attachment #1 are for assets which have clear "tangible values" - such as cash accounts, savings, Certificates of Deposit, etc. - values are clear and fixed as of "date of valuation", whereas Attachment #2 are for assets which the Referee needs to evaluate and assess the value, eg. real property, family residence, the value might change depending on the "date of valuation" since real property values can change monthly. Since our facts list all assets with "fixed, and firm values" as of date of death, we can then fill in the Waiver of Appraisal (which otherwise the referee would have to evaluate, and list on Attachment #2 of the Inventory)
Using the above facts, word process the Waiver of Appraisal - WAVAPR.RTF and include the family residence, shares of stock, IRA, bank account (s), etc. then attach it to your etudes assignment. Make sure you put in the name of the deceased, the name of the personal representative (petitioner), and the date and time and department of the Probate Court (the date, time and department you can create or "make up")
