Fred Neff is married to Ethel Hooks.  Fred and Ethel reside at  5854 Painter Ave, Whittier, CA 90601.

Fred died on August 30, 2010 in Pasadena, California at the age of 95.  

Fred’s valid will stated that he was married and had four adult children:  Josh Neff, Jim Neff, Jose Neff, and Juana Neff.

Fred’s will left all of his community property to his brother, Tim Neff.

Fred’s valid will divides his remaining assets as follows:

50% of his remaining assets are to be divided equally between Josh, Jim, Jose, and Juana.

30% of his remaining assets are to be divided equally between his good friends Aleks Arzili and Rudy Gonzalez.  

The residue clause in the will gave all remaining assets to the City of Hope.

20% of his remaining assets are to go to Los Angeles Mission College Student Scholarship Fund.  

The will appoints Julian Corral as executor and  Steven Armstrong as the first alternate executor.  The will does not waive bond.

At the time of Fred’s death his assets were as follows:

1.House located at 5854 Painter Ave, Whittier, CA 90601 with a date of death value of $5,500,000.  The house was purchased prior to the marriage with Fred’s separate property .

2.     500 Shares of Google Stock, Cusip Number 7891945 with a date of death value of $950,000.

3.     A life Insurance policy with Nationwide, Policy Number 222333 for $75,000,000 with  Ethel Hooks as the pay on death beneficiary.

4.    Bank of America Checking Account No 111111 with $225,222 held in Joint Tenancy with Ethel Hooks.

5.     500 Shares of Apple Stock, Cusip Number 888999 with a date of death value of $1,443,486 that Fred inherited from his uncle Theodore Neff.

6.     $622,250 IRA with Ethel Hooks as the pay on death beneficiary.

7.     $545,878 Certificate of Deposit at Wells Fargo, Account Number 000111 held as community property.

At the time of Fred's death his creditors were as follows:

• Providence Saint Joe's Hospital in the amount of $67,000.

• Chase Visa in the amount of $18,540

• Shell Citibank in the amount of $1,200
